Trade Fair Aalsmeer 2018: “Connect to Global Growth”
This is the theme chosen for the nineteenth edition of the Royal FloraHolland fair in Aalsmeer, Holland, where thousands of professional visitors from all over the world gather
With an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, 20,000 varieties of flowers and plants and 600 exhibitors from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Israel, Ethiopia, Taiwan, Japan and the United States, Trade Fair is the fair international leading floriculture with the widest range of international floricultural products. Hybridizers, growers, nurserymen and traders present their production innovations and the most relevant trends.
Floramiata visited the fair, and was able to gather information on new international scenarios, potential new customers and innovations on production plans.
With an unprecedented global knowledge of the industry, the latest innovations in the field of digitization, the fair this year will take place from 7 to 9 November of course at the Royal Flora Holland of Aalsmeer. The theme will be Connect to Global Growth: ornamental cultivation is becoming more and more international, so the promoters of the kermesse have developed a program that intends to address topics such as internationalization, sustainability, innovation and digitalisation, and an update of Floriday, the platform of digital supply for floriculture, by Gerhard van der Bijl, CDO of Royal FloraHolland. There will also be workshops and news on trends and inspirations.
