Very elegant plant native of India, South East Asia and Tropical North Australia, it can assume considerable dimensions.

The Ficus Belize, named after a Brazilian country, is characterized by oval variegated leaves in shades of red, pink, and white.
There are dozens of varieties and cultivars with different forms of variegation.
The main differences usually lie in the size, color, and shape of the leaves, which can be green or beautifully variegated and glossy, sometimes with a crinkled texture.Nighttime temperatures can drop to around 16°-20°C, while optimal daytime temperatures range between 22° and 26°C.

All Ficus plants help humidify indoor environments and are considered effective air purifiers. In particular, this plant is a strong absorber of formaldehyde, a harmful substance released by cigarette smoke, stove gas, plastic bags, nail polishes and paints, fabrics, and curtains.
