The Dieffenbachia is a plant native to Brazil, belonging to the Araceae family. It is an evergreen and perennial genus.

All cultivated varieties available on the market are derived from the amoena and maculata varieties.

The genus includes around seventy species, characterized by large, elongated dark green leaves with white, ivory, or light green streaks or spots. The plant has a short but thick and sturdy stem. It produces few flowers, gathered in small spiky clusters.

They love light—the more they receive, the more the leaves turn white. These plants are stunning ornamental elements for homes, thanks to the beauty of their leaves, their light-colored veins, vibrant colors, and ease of cultivation.

With its elegance, it is easy to create a jungle-like atmosphere in any space.
