Description

Aglaonema, native to the Island of Malacca in the Philippines, belongs to the Araceae family and is a genus comprising around 50 species of small, evergreen herbaceous plants. Known also as “Chinese evergreens,” they are said to be the Asian counterpart of Dieffenbachia.

It features beautiful, oblong, lanceolate leaves, often variegated. It prefers a temperature of 16°C and can tolerate down to 10°C in winter. During the summer, ventilation is necessary if temperatures exceed 21°C.
