Peperomia Caperata

It needs light but not direct sunlight.

Being a slow-growing epiphyte, Peperomia requires little fertilizer.

Let the surface of the soil dry between waterings and keep the Peperomia dry to prevent root rot issues.

Description

PEPEROMIA CAPERATA
CP/17 H= 20 CM

The Peperomia is a tropical plant native to Mexico, South America, and the West Indies. With over 1,000 known species, it is a very resilient houseplant with succulent, thick, and fleshy leaves, capable of withstanding long periods of drought.

What makes it unique are its leaves, which can be textured or smooth, red, green, or with shades of gray or purple. A common trait among all Peperomia plants is their slow growth, and they can be planted year-round as they require little maintenance.

The Caperata variety is distinguished by its oval, bronze-colored leaves and a central candle-like inflorescence.
