Peperomia Watermelon

It needs light but not direct sunlight.

Being a slow-growing epiphyte, Peperomia requires little fertilizer.

Let the surface of the soil dry between waterings and keep the Peperomia dry to avoid root rot issues.

Description

PEPEROMIA WATERMELON
CP/17 H= 35 CM

Peperomia is a tropical plant native to Mexico, South America, and the West Indies. With over 1,000 known species, it is a very resilient houseplant with succulent, thick, and fleshy leaves that can withstand long periods of drought.

What characterizes it are its leaves, which can be textured or smooth, in shades of red, green, with gray or purple hues. A common trait among all Peperomia plants is their slow growth, and they can be planted year-round as they require little maintenance.

The Watermelon variety is characterized by oval-shaped leaves with green and white stripes.
