Description
Aglaonema, native to the island of Malacca in the Philippines, belongs to the Araceae family and is a genus comprising about 50 species of small, evergreen herbaceous plants. Also known as “Chinese evergreens,” they are said to be the Asian counterpart of Dieffenbachia.
It has beautiful oblong and lance-shaped leaves, often variegated.
It prefers a temperature of 16°C. In winter, it can tolerate as low as 10°C, while in summer, ventilation is necessary above 21°C.
