The Pachira aquatica<\/strong> is an evergreen plant belonging to the Bombacaceae<\/strong> family (the same as the majestic Baobab), native to the Central American region<\/strong>, where it thrives in humid areas such as tropical river estuaries. In nature, it can reach a height of 15 meters. The plant is known as the Guiana Chestnut because it produces edible seeds that are consumed roasted or fried.<\/p>\n

In our latitudes, the plant remains in a juvenile state and does not bear fruit, but it is widely known and appreciated as an indoor plant for its beauty.<\/p>\n

Legends and popular traditions attribute to the Pachira<\/em> leaves the power to attract wealth, fortune, and success. The money drawn by the leaves is said to be held within the trunk.
